Below are the uses and meanings that I have received for each symbol. Above all, please use your intuition in using a symbol - this list is by no means limited. If you find you like or are called to a certain symbol, but the meaning written here doesn't quite match, don't be afraid of using the symbol. We all have our own intuition and insight, often unawares consciously to us, so whichever symbol you feel you need to use, go with your gut instinct. Below is really just what the symbols mean for me.

This is a powerful symbol of balance and protection. It helps us to say no when we need to nurture ourselves or we are taking on too much from others to the detriment of ourselves. It also helps provide a peaceful, smooth and comfortable transition through death, or for anyone with a fear of dying.
This symbol is strongly associated with Melchizedek and is a symbol of intense protection. It represents the divine order of the universe and the synchronicity in daily life that we see as a result of this order. It is also helpful in opening up to non-human realms, such as that of the fey, elemental, angelic, starbeings, etc.
This symbols represents all maternal/mother issues, as well as emotional growth. It helps us become more comfortable with new ideas and helps ease us 'out of our comfort zone'. It also represents the cycles of life and so can be used whenever there is a major transition, ie: a birth, death, major change of life, etc.
This symbol is for use in all physical matters where balance is needed. It reminds us to walk the threads of life perfectly balanced, without leaning too much either way. It will encourage balance in all areas.
This is a powerful symbol of manifestation, allowing us to connect with our inner God/Goddess/Creator. It is helpful for reprogramming old patterns and negative habits, as well as being helpful for those recovering from or suffering with cancer-related illnesses.
This is a symbol of integration, of encouraging unity and freedom from seperation of any kind. It is also useful for anyone who is under attack, either verbally, physically, or spiritually, as it is a strong protector symbol.
This is a very grounding symbol and can be used in cases where someone is homesick, away from home, or feeling 'spaced out' and not 'with it'. It represents stability and the force of gravity, and will help to bring you 'back down to earth'.
