Katie Noelle Holmes was the fifth Holmes child, born in Toledo, Ohio on December 18th 1978. Katie loved being the "baby" of the family as she was able to hang around all of her older brothers friends, shes says she had a crush on them all. Katie is the one non-athletic member of her family and so she got into acting. As a child Katie couldn't stand getting in trouble "If my parents ever yelled at me, it would tear me apart". Katie has always wanted to be an actor yet her father was totally against it. She got a part in her first movie audition "The Ice Storm" as Libits Casey. Katie defered her selection to Columbia University to be on Dawson's Creek (She completed high school with straight A's.). Katie Holmes says "Im more upt to go for a dark-haired man". As for Katie's "fling" with co-star Joshua Jackson (Pacey) which she doesn't like to talk about, she says "It was pleasant. It was wonderful". Katie says "I must have a Starbucks Vanilla Latte everyday. Otherwise, it's going to be a bad day." In the future Katie Holmes hopes to be at a nice place in her future, Starting College or have already gone and she hopes to be in love.
