Causes and Effects of our Fear of Love, and How to Overcome it

The book starts with a definition of Love as being not something to be gained or deserved but a power identical to the Life Force in each living creature. Yet, born into a world of matter amidst unavoidable traumas of separation, we spend our early years putting up blocks against this unifying energy in ourselves, ending up collectively with an alienated society ruled by substitutes. The only meaningful task in life can be, amidst all challenges to find our way back to love and thereby to harmony and peace. A gripping story which in combining adventure and mystery deals with important issues not generally covered in fairy tales.

Three orphaned children, runaways from an institution, are picked up in the street and driven by three adults (two of them Aborigines) to the Centre. This turns out to be the inner regions of the human mind, while their guides are in the end found to embody the powers of the Inner Knowing, Love and Truth.

For a Humane Future through 'Organic Revolution'

We, who are concerned about the state of humanity and the course embraced and advocated by its leading voices,

believe the time has come for creating significant change in all spheres of human life.

We regard as the prime task of humanity the questioning of the ways of thinking currently entrenched in the social and political sphere, with a view to adopting Love as our Natural Guide.

As our personal contribution to the healing of humanity and the planet, we pledge

- to accept responsibility in all spheres of our life;

- to cultivate love and forgiveness towards our own person as a precondition for extending compassion and forgiveness towards all;

- to uncover and question the substitutes we are cherishing in the place of Love - thereby in effect obstructing and denying it -;

- to investigate our own thought patterns and attitudes:

whether these are inspired by ancient fear strategies that separate and emphasise differences, - or by Love, affirming that, beyond nationality, race, religion or gender, all humanity is one;

whether in our relationships we tend to act out emotional patterns relating to our past, or are open to feeling the present moment;

whether in challenging situations we adopt the emotional reaction of the defence-needy victim, or the feeling response of self-responsible creator, able to effect needed change;

- and we pledge, in all these instances to choose the course that is guided by Love and Truth, rather than fear and illusion.

In a firm commitment to creating a future in tune with Nature and Love, we further choose

- to acknowledge Love as the unifying Creative Force that informs, nourishes and connects all individuals as well as all aspects of Nature;

- to adopt the cause of 'Organic Revolution', which in complete reversal of current attitudes takes its cues from Nature and Love;

- to make our voice heard in society as the voice of awareness and feeling, Truth and Love;

- to help expose the substitute nature of what society is offering in place of genuine need fulfilment;

- to embrace the cause of reaffirming those vital needs of children whose essential nature has been forgotten;

and generally to support compassionate sharing and collective enjoyment over acquiring and consuming.

In this spirit, we urge all representatives of our social, political and economic institutions

- to follow suit in exercising responsible creativity in the face of challenging situations rather than resorting to defensive reactions;

- to adopt as guiding standards of their actions the requirements of Nature in a spirit of loving service, rather than the catering to substitute cravings;

- and rather than focusing on gaining votes, wealth or power, through personal example as servants of humanity and the planet, to show themselves as true leaders.

IN PERSONALLY SERVING THE CAUSE OF NATURE UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF LOVE,

WE WILL PAVE THE WAY INTO A FUTURE IN WHICH ALL HUMANITY CAN ENJOY THE ABUNDANT BLESSINGS WHICH NATURE AND LOVE PROVIDE.
