In 1999 both Aust.Ch.Jayzer Cozette and Aust.Ch.Bigglesmere's Liv'n Doll (Imp.U.K.) were mated to Aust.Ch.Bigglesmere's Jolly Swagman, and both whelped five puppies each within 16 days of each other. From those litters we are proud to present the first Jonquilow Lowchens.

10 months, Matilda took the Best in Specialty Show award the Lowchen Club
of N.S.W. Specialty Show, judged by Mrs Janet Edwards (Cleeview, U.K.)
With a record entry of
72 Lowchens, Mrs. Janet Edwards is a Breed Specialist Judge and breeder
of Lowchens of 25 years standing. It was, therefore, a very special thrill
for us at Jonquilow when Matilda won Best Exhibit in Specialty Show under
such a knowledgable and experienced Judge. Matilda has since gone on to achieve her Australian Championship title at 13 months of age. In addition to her Best Exhibit in Specialty Show award, she has gained multiple Best in Group, Runner Up Best in Group, and Class in Group Awards. She has continued to build on her early success and fulfil her potential as a Lowchen of classic type and temperament. She attracts admiration wherever she is shown being of lovely type, with beautiful sound movement. Matilda is a great "character" with a wonderful mischievous temperament. Matilda, like all our Lowchens, shares our homes as much loved members of our families. In October 2001 B.I.S.S.Ch.Jonquilow Waltzn Matilda, and B.I.S.S. Ch.Jonquilow Mozarts Pride achieved a unique "double" when they won Best in Group and Runner Up Best in Group respectively at the Southern Highlands Kennel Club show, under judge Miss M. Joyce (Vic)
Maestro has achieved his Australian Championship title. He has achieved numerous prestigious awards, including Best Exhibit in Specialty Show, Consolation to Best in Show (All Breeds) and multiple Best in Group, Runner Up Best in Group, Class in Show & Class in Group awards. He has also sired several litters of puppies. Maestro attracts much admiration for his beautiful classic Lowchen head and expression, correct type, soundness and lovely silky coat. Maestro's lively and gentle temperament makes him a wonderful family companion for the Jonquilow team.
Also at 10 months of age, Tia followed her litter sister Matilda in winning Runner Up Best in Show at the Lowchen Club Specialty Show, and Reserve Challenge Bitch. She too has since achieved her Australian Championship title and has won many Classes in Group awards.
Melly has achieved her Australian championship title and numerous Classes in Group and In Show awards, including Runner Up Best in Group. Litter brother and sister, Maestro and Melly achieved a unique "double" when they achieved their Australian Championship titles on the same day at 15 months of age, even though they live and are shown 1000 kilometers apart!!!. We are grateful to Glenise and Andy Field at Elguarda Lowchens for giving Melly her chance to "shine" in the Queensland sun, and for welcoming her into their family and for loving her so much.
Lilly is also the litter sister of Maestro and Melly. She is a very special "baby" for well known breed specialist Sue Ikin (Shysu Lowchens). Very lightly shown, she is also well on her way to her championship title. ________________________________________________________________

Born at the time of the glorious Sydney Olympic Games in Autumn 2000, "Gloria" and "Lea" are litter sisters, being the daughters of our English imported male, Aust.Ch.Bigglesmere's Jolly Swagman (Banjo) and our Australian bitch Aust.Ch.Jayzer Cozette. Like all of our puppies, these girls were raised in the family home, where Karen's children - Kayla and Jake play a very special part in ensuring that our puppies are well socialised, "bomb proof" little characters. They are the full sisters of Matilda and Tia and already following in their footsteps to success....................... Aust.
