Very unusual construction - not even sure if it belongs in celluloid! Outer ring of celluloid with metal back, surrounding a clear glass sew thru button. All pieces fit together perfectly - like a precision inlay. Button was definitely made this way. There is a small chip on the back of the glass section of both buttons.
