Both Ruth and Richard teach students of all levels and ages, preparing them for exams and eisteddfods. They are experienced in teaching the syllabus for A.M.E.B., Trinity and Associated Board exams and have taught several prize- winning students.

After teaching for many years, the duo felt a need for a new guitar method which , as well as being fun, contains several pieces which cover all techniques and basic skills needed to become competent on the guitar.

Their book, " Guitar for Everyone !", takes students step by step through many pieces to intermediate level. The book contains mostly new pieces composed by Duo Lenz.

Both Ruth and Richard are sought after as examiners for the Australian Music Examination Board and the University of Western Australia as well as adjudicators for various schools and competitions.

As a professional performing duo, Ruth and Richard are experienced ensemble music players. Both Ruth and Richard lead several Guitar Ensembles at various schools in Perth, WA.
